The Haramain Highspeed Railway makes it easy for Hajj and Umrah pilgrams to reach Makkah. And, for those who want to visit Madinah, the train goes there too.
It connects the Muslim holy cities of Madinah and Madinah using 449.2 kilometres of railway line and a 3.75-kilometre connection line to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The line is designed for a top speed of 299 km/h.
